Recovery Roadmap

The enactment of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, also known as the "federal stimulus  package", has created a windfall of money -- $789 billion -- intended to stimulate the economy and stabilize state budgets.  Along with this unprecedented  level of federal funding come questions about the process, timing, eligibility of projects, and numerous other issues.

Navigating the process and intent of this legislation is an overwhelming task for most of us.  To simplify and streamline this process, GCP members can access information and ask questions through this section of our website - the Recovery Roadmap.

Here you will find information about funding available through state, federal and local government, as well as the latest information about the process.

On Monday, March 2 the GCP advocacy team hosted a conference call for members to learn more about the Recovery and Reinvestment Act.  The call consisted of an overview of the Act, the role of federal and state government, and the impact the Act will have on Ohio's budget. If you would like to listen to the call, which lasted about 30 minutes, click here.

On Friday, March 20th,  the GCP advocacy team hosted a second conference call for members to get an update about the Recovery and Reinvestment Act.  The call provided an update of information and process of the Act as well as the ever-changing information on the federal link www.recovery.gov.  If you would like to listen to the call, which lasted about 30 minutes, click here.

GCP members with specific questions can ask them by email.  We will respond to inquiries and post frequently asked questions and answers.  Email advocacy@gcpartnership.com  with your inquiries.
