Medical, Dental and Vision Benefits
Greater Cleveland Partnership provides several comprehensive health insurance programs for employees and their family’s health care needs through Medical Mutual including a Health Savings Account option.
A dental PPO Plan is provided through MMO Super Dental.
Vision benefits through Vision Service Plan (VSP) are 100 percent employer paid if you enroll in a GCP-sponsored health plan.
The employee portion of the health and dental premiums are deducted each pay through payroll deduction on a pre-tax basis.
Group Life Insurance
Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance are provided to all regular full time employees through a group insurance contract. The premium is 100 percent paid by GCP.
Employees may also elect to purchase Spouse/Dependent Life Insurance through payroll deduction at a minimal cost.
Long Term Disability
Greater Cleveland Partnership provides long-term disability insurance for regular full time employees. This coverage applies to a disability that prevents the employee from working for more than 90 calendar days. The premium is 100 percent paid by GCP.
401(k)
Greater Cleveland Partnership sponsors a 401(k) Plan for employees. GCP‘s 401(k) plan enables employees to save for retirement on a tax-deferred basis through automatic payroll deduction. Employees are eligible to participate after successful completion of the 90-day Introductory Period. GCP offers a matching contribution as well as a “Safe Harbor” contribution to all employees. Details will be provided by the Human Resources Department.
Flexible Spending Accounts
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) allow employees to lower their taxable income. There are two types of FSA’s available – Dependent Care and Health Care. The Dependent Care FSA will reimburse on a pre-tax basis for eligible day care and elder care expenses. The Health Care FSA will also reimburse for eligible and out-of-pocket medical, dental and visions expenses.
Bus and Rapid Pass Discount
GCP participates in the Commuter Advantage Program with RTA (Regional Transit Authority). The cost of the monthly RTA passes is subsidized by GCP and therefore, you have the opportunity to purchase transit passes at a reduced rate. The cost of the pass is determined by the RTA and is subject to change. Passes may be purchased on a pre-tax basis through payroll deduction allowing employees the opportunity for additional savings.
Pre-Tax Parking
The IRS is allowing employees who pay for parking to use pre-tax dollars. This means employees can save a minimum of approximately 25 percent in federal, state and social security taxes.
Parking may be purchased through payroll on a pre-tax basis. This program is currently available for the following parking facilities: North Lot, Riverview, Tower City, Flats Lot, and Tower City Valet Parking. It is the responsibility of the employee to complete all paperwork and to secure their parking pass. A parking pass number is required on your enrollment documents into the program.
Employee Assistant Program (EAP)
Greater Cleveland Partnership has contracted with the Center for Families and Children to provide EASE@WORK, a voluntary, private and confidential program providing counseling and community resources for employees and family members to help identify problems and develop plans for resolution.
Paid Time Off (PTO)
The Greater Cleveland Partnership has established a Paid Time Off (PTO) policy to meet the diverse needs of our employees in a flexible approach to time off. PTO provides all full and part time staff members with paid time away from work that can be used for vacation, personal time, personal illness or time off to care for dependents. This PTO time is in addition to company paid holidays, jury duty pay and bereavement leave. The amount of PTO available to employees is based on their years of continuous service ranging from 16 to 26 days per year.
Holidays
Greater Cleveland Partnership observes nine holidays during the calendar year. Generally, the observed holidays include: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
