JobsOhio is the private nonprofit created by the Kasich Administration to focus on job creation and economic development in Ohio. Minor joined JobsOhio during its inception in 2011 as Managing Director and became President and Chief Investment Officer in 2012. In his current role, he has been responsible for leading the strategic direction of JobsOhio and bolstering business retention, expansion and attraction opportunities for companies interested in Ohio. He also serves as a commissioner for the Ohio Third Frontier, one of the state’s largest and most successful economic development programs focused on technology and startup growth. Minor has over 14 years of investment banking experience, advising companies on strategic and capital raising transactions. Before joining JobsOhio, he worked at Evercore Partners as a Managing Director in its Financial Institutions Group. Prior to Evercore, he was a Senior Vice President in the Financial Institutions Group at Lehman Brothers and Barclays Capital. Minor holds an MBA with high distinction from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business and a BA from the University of Virginia.
