Cleveland Council on World Affairs

Founded in 1923 to promote world peace, the Cleveland Council on World Affairs is Northeast Ohio’s most prominent organization that provides the public with greater understanding and personal engagement in international relations and global issues. The Council hosts more than 30 events each year, ranging from major lectures by political, business and academic leaders who shape the world to free discussions with national and regional experts.

Great Lakes Metro Chambers

Great Lakes Metro Chambers Coalition

As a member of the Great Lakes Metro Chambers Coalition, the GCP supports the group's agenda that calls for the establishment of High Skill Immigration (HIS) zones. This would allow the federal government to lift current limits on granting H1-B and other such visas awarded to employers who need to import educated workers to occupy high-technology positions that cannot be filled by American workers.

TiE Ohio

TiE Ohio

TiE is a global organization, focused on mentoring entrepreneurs, especially those from immigrant and minority backgrounds. TiE Ohio, launched in Dec. 2008, is the 50th chapter of the TiE Global organization, which has locations throughout North America as well as Europe, Asia, and Australia. TiE is the world's largest not-for-profit, non-political, and secular organization fostering entrepreneurship globally across 52 cities in 11 countries through mentoring, networking, and educating.
