Congressman Anthony Gonzalez has been appointed to the House Science, Space and Technology Committee. The committee has oversight of non-defense federal research and development programs along with exclusive oversight of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). Congressman Gonzalez’s appointment to this committee is important, as Ohio now has a member on a committee of jurisdiction for NASA issues. “NASA Glenn Research Center is an important asset to our region,” says Joe Roman, GCP’s President & CEO. “We look forward to working with Congressman Gonzalez, and our entire congressional delegation, to ensure we maximize the positive impact that NASA Glenn and Plum Brook Station have on the State of Ohio.”
