Robert J. Jackson Jr. is the Commissioner of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). At the Forum, he will deliver his first major address since taking office. He will set forth his ideas about what the SEC and others can and should do to make capital markets work better for the country and the economy as a whole. Commissioner Jackson was appointed by President Donald Trump to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and was sworn in on January 11, 2018. Commissioner Jackson comes to the SEC from NYU School of Law, where he was a professor of law.
