Minority Business Development
The Commission develops minority-owned businesses to increase the total revenue, value, size, and number of employees for minority-owned businesses in our region.
Business Growth Collaborative
The Business Growth Collaborative (BGC) is a partnership of ten technical assistance organizations that provide services to minority-owned businesses. The service delivery system can be difficult for clients to navigate, and as a result, these organizations are working closely for greater success. BGC members are simplifying the process of connecting entrepreneurs of color to resources that will grow their businesses.
The Marketplace is an online portal connecting minority-owned businesses (MBEs) with demand for goods and services. It is a virtual space that serves as a searchable database of MBEs allowing buyers and suppliers to accelerate each of their respective activities.
Boardroom to Boardroom
Boardroom to Boardroom introduces a minority business owner to a professional services firm that offers pro bono consulting. The two parties work together to create a case study that is presented to leaders of major companies. The advice provided to the business owner helps expand operations, bring new technology to market and grow revenue.
